Every printer or any other printing device owner faces this question. The market of consumables has cartridges for printers, copiers, multifunction devices and other printing equipment from different manufacturers, both original and non-original. How not to make the wrong choice?

The downside of the original cartridge use is its very high price.
Non-original cartridges can be new and remanufactured.
Compatible cartridges are new, but manufactured by independent companies in their own technology. The advantages of using non-original compatible cartridges in comparison with the original ones are: lower price, a large range of compatibility, a great cartridge yield. Disadvantages of using compatible cartridges are the printing equipment warranty is invalid, the risk of acquiring low-quality cartridge.
Remanufactured cartridges - are the original cartridges, which after first use were dismantled, all worn parts were replaced, except those which are protected by the vendor’s patent and refilled with toner or ink. The advantages of using remanufactured cartridges in comparison with new ones are the cost savings up to 70%. The large downside of remanufactured cartridge using is the fact that in addition to companies which are professionals in the restoration of cartridges (recyclers) there are so-called "self-made experts" selling very poor quality cartridges which can damage your printer. Therefore, choosing a remanufactured cartridge you should give preference to professionals.
